This is a crystal American Brilliant bowl from the Jefferson Glass Co. The bowl is stamped Krys-tol in the bottom.
It has a gorgeous cut design and sawtooth edge. This crystal bowl catches the light beautifully and acts as a prism making a rainbow of colors in the bowl. This is a great piece for the collector or a wonderful gift idea.
From 1907 to 1928, Jefferson produced cut glass and it is from this time period that this bowl is from.

This antique bowl is in excellent condition. There is a chip on one of the saw teeth which has to be looked for to be actually seen. This is minor for this bowl's age. There are no cracks, utensil marks, or shelf marks.
This bowl is very heavy.
One of the many ways to tell original American Brilliant cut glass is to check it under a black light. If it is real it will fluoresce a lime green color. This item has been checked and does.
This would make a great housewarming, hostess, wedding, shower, or holiday gift. A great piece to add to your collection.
