This is a beautiful clear two-piece cheese and cracker set made by Fostoria in the American pattern. This pattern was designed by Phillip Ebeling and patented in 1915 and was not discontinued until the factory closed in 1983. This makes American the longest continually produced pattern in the domestic glassware industry. Each piece of this heavy, pressed-glass pattern features a cube design.
This set is durable enough to be used every day and lovely enough for special occasions and holidays. The pattern is beautiful and timeless and made to last. It would also make a fantastic serving dish for hors d'oeuvres.

Cracker Plate:
12 inches in diameter
The cracker plate has an indent that holds the cheese bowl in place.
Cheese Bowl:
3 1/2 inches in height
5 1/2 inches in diameter
This set is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. The center of the cracker plates does have a few scratches from the cheese bowl being set on it.
What a lovely addition to your table on special occasions, holidays, or every day.
This would make a great wedding shower, wedding, hostess, or housewarming gift.
