Released in 1985, 40 Hour Week was Alabama's ninth studio album and another major success for the band. The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and produced three No. 1 country singles, including There's No Way, 40 Hour Week (For a Livin'), and Can't Keep a Good Man Down. The title song became an anthem honoring America's hardworking men and women and remains one of Alabama's signature recordings.
