International Silver Company Silverplate 3 Light Candelabra Candlesticks, Set of 2
Pair of matching three-light silverplated candelabra by International Silver Company. Each candelabrum has a traditional shaped base, turned center column and two curved arms, providing three candle holders on each piece and six candle positions when the pair is displayed together.
One candelabrum retains its original blue label marked:

Condition:
Both retain the white plastic candle inserts inside the holders. The pair has been cleaned and polished.
The candelabrum retaining its original label is in very good condition. The silverplate remains bright and shiny with little marking.
The second candelabrum shows more evidence of previous use. There is light spotting and marking on the base, although it retains a bright silver finish. When the pair is displayed together, the difference is much less noticeable than it appears in close-up photographs.
Both green felt bottoms remain in place. The felt shows some marking and discoloration from age and cleaning.

History
International Silver Company traces its name to the major American silver company formed in Meriden, Connecticut, in 1898 through the consolidation of numerous established silver manufacturers. The company became a prominent name in American silverware and silver-plated household goods during the 20th century. These candelabra are from the later history of the International Silver name rather than the company's earlier American manufacturing period. The surviving label identifies them as International Silver Company, Silverplated, Made in China. Their design follows traditional silver candelabra forms, with shaped bases, turned stems and curved arms supporting three candle holders on each piece.
