A gorgeous gravy boat with attached underplate by Sango China made in Occupied Japan. The pattern name is Floradel and consists of multicolored flowers a white background with gold trim. There are flowers on the inside as well as the outside of this beautiful serving boat.
Many items being exported from Japan from 1945 to 1952 were required by law to be marked with the words “Occupied Japan”, or “Made in Occupied Japan”. General Douglas MacArthur started this to help Japanese people with their post-war economic recovery.

This beautiful gravy boat is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. The gold shows no wear at all.
