Cups and Saucers, Tashiro Shoten Ltd, Set of 4, Floral Pattern, Gold Trim, Beige and Blue
A wonderful set of four cups and saucers made by Tashiro Shoten Ltd. It has a floral pattern, with beige and blue bands and gold trim. These would be great for having tea or coffee on a veranda, porch, or patio. They would be beautiful on a table, buffet, sideboard, or in a china cabinet.
Tashiro Shoten Ltd porcelain shop in Yokohama was active until 1954. The use of the word "Shoten" indicates the name of a shop which is selling products from its own kiln.

These cups and saucers are in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. They do have quite a bit of rubbing to the gold trim. This is from years of being used and loved. These date from the 1940s.
