A gorgeous footed teacup by Paragon China. This teacup has a cream and white base with 24K gold trim. The pattern is of gold leaves in gold around the inside of the cup and on the saucer. The cup and saucer are made from fine bone china and the mark on the back states "By Appointment To Her Majesty The Queen". This would be a perfect gift idea for a tea connoisseur or a collector of teacups.
The Paragon China Company was a British manufacturer of bone china from 1919 to 1960, based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, previously known as the Star China Company, and more recently part of the Royal Doulton group. Paragon was noted for producing high-quality teaware and tableware and was granted royal warrants of appointment by several members of the British Royal Family.
