Relish Platter, Wellsville China, Green Lines, Restaurant Grade, 11 Inch
A charming antique relish platter made by Wellsville China. The pattern consists of green bands on the rim and on the verge. This would be a great small serving platter and would look lovely on a buffet, sideboard or table.
Wellsville China (Wellsville, Ohio, USA 1902-1959) The Wellsville company purchased the abandoned Pioneer Pottery company works and by 1912 was producing plain and decorated semi-porcelain, dinner and toilet wares, tea sets, cuspidors and other accessories and specialty items. Vitreous hotel ware was added in 1933. Controlling interest passed to Sterling China in 1959 and the company closed in 1969.

This platter is in good condition. There is no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are many numerous utensil marks. Our price reflects this imperfection.
