A lovely set of cloisonné earrings. The design consists of multicolored flowers and the setting is a petal pattern.
Cloisonne is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects. The decoration is formed by first adding compartments (cloisons in French) to the metal object by soldering or affixing silver or gold wires or thin strips placed on their edges. Then the compartments are enameled or affixed with gems.

These are in excellent condition. They have no scratches. The gold tone is bright and shiny.
