This is a lovely decorative art glass collectors display plate by Orrefors, Sweden for The Franklin Mint in its original box. Its center portrays a tree with two figures underneath. Around the center are the words "Beneath The Boughs of Liberty Tree - Where met The Sons of Liberty". The crystal glass is hand blown. It is based on a sculpture by Gilroy Roberts. It's a 1976 Single Limited Edition. What a wonderful addition to an Americana collection. It would look marvelous in a china cabinet or on a wall.
Orrefors is a glassworks company in the Swedish village of Orrefors in Småland. Orrefors manufactured crystal glassware and art glass. The range consisted of crystal stemware, barware, vases, and sculptures and lighting products in crystal. The glassworks in Orrefors closed in 2012.

This plate is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. It does have a couple of scratches which are hard to see under normal lighting. The box is in very good condition.
