This is a gorgeous teapot made in Italy. The hand painted floral pattern is quite lovely with its blues, yellows, purples and greens. It would be great for having tea with friends on a veranda, porch, or patio. A gift idea for the tea lover.
This pot does have glaze cracks on the inside from not making the tea properly. The teapot should be warmed before adding boiling water. To warm, add hot but not boiling water into the teapot and pour it out again, then wait 2 to 3 minutes to pour the boiling water inside the teapot after adding the tea leaves or tea bags. This lets the glaze and the pottery expand at the same rate.

This teapot is in great condition. It does have some chips on it's spout, (please see photos). There is also a flea bite chip on the handle. The inside is clean and white but does have some glaze cracking which is normal for a vintage teapot. Our price reflexes these imperfections.
