A wonderful sugar bowl and creamer by Buffalo China in the Kenmore Brown pattern consisting of a brown floral band on a tan background. This is a lovely pattern and is highly collectible. It is restaurant ware, and is very heavy, designed to be roughly handled and as such will give you many years of service.

The Buffalo Pottery Company was established in Buffalo, New York, in 1901. It was an offshoot of the Larkin Soap Company, which was founded in 1875. John Larkin and Elbert Hubbard conceived Buffalo Pottery to make dishes that could be purchased with certificates from Larkin Soap. Buffalo Pottery produced many different kinds of pottery for commercial use in hotels and railroad dining cars, as well as art pottery that is popular with antique collectors.

4½ inches in diameter

This set was made to stand the rigors of a busy restaurant and as such is in great condition. It has no chips, cracks, or crazing. The creamer does have scuff marks due to being older than the sugar bowl, it dates from the 1940s. The sugar bowl dates from the 1970s and is in excellent condition.
