A wonderful hardcover cookbook called The Key to Chinese Cooking by Irene Kuo. Illustrated by Carolyn Moy. This book is no longer in print, and this is a first edition.
In the Key to Chinese Cooking, Kuo focuses on four basic categories of technique: cooking in liquid, cooking in oil, cooking with wet heat, and cooking with dry heat. In each of these categories, there are different approaches with specific guidelines. For her, the key to Chinese cooking lies in understanding technique and how it affects ingredients. Many call this the 'bible' of Chinese cooking.

This book is in fine condition. The binding is tight. The book has no markings on the inside. The pages are all clean and bright. The covers show little shelf ware. The dust cover is also in very good condition but has sun fading on the spine area and there is light tearing as well.
This would make a great gift idea for the person who loves Chinese food and loves to cook. Great for the beginner as well as the expert.

Reading Copy: A copy usually in poor to fair condition that includes all text presented in a legible fashion. The copy is fine to read but nothing more.
