Two wonderful children's hardcover books called Voyage on the Great Titanic and A Coal Miner's Bride. The books are illustrated and part of the Scholastic 'Dear America' Series. The 'Dear America' is a series of historical fiction novels aimed at girls aged 8-14. Each book is written in the form of a diary of a young woman's life during an important event or time period in American history.

These books are in very good condition. The bindings are tight. There are no marks in the books. No stains or marks on the covers. The ribbon place marker on the Titantic book is much more worn than on the Cole Miner's Bride. They both have very little shelf wear.

As New: The book is in the same immaculate condition as when it was published. This could be the description for a book that has been lost in a warehouse for years, never shelved, thumbed or even opened yet may still be some years old.
