A gorgeous white girl figurine holding a dove by Aquincum Hungary. The figurine is trimmed with 24K gold. The artist is Antónia Ősz Szabó, whose name has become one with the Aquincum porcelain factory. Almost everyone knows the works of Antónia Ősz Szabó, even those who do not collect porcelain, because they are very popular and can be found in many places. Their distinctive feature is their somewhat large heads. This piece is the artist representation of Cinderella. This is a great piece and would look marvelous in a china or curio cabinet. A wonderful gift idea.
The Aquincum Porcelain Factory of Budapest, Hungary. Founded in 1854 by Tivadar Hüttl. The porcelain sculptures are famous for their design and their beauty. The Aquincum Porcelain Factory ceased operations on April 30, 1991. The furnaces were dismantled, the plaster samples and molds were smashed.

This figurine is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is no rubbing to the gold trim or hand painted face.
