A gorgeous antique nickel silver chafing dish by Barbour Silver Company. It consists of four pieces, the lid, metal insert, metal rim for insert, and footed bowl. This would make an elegant statement at any party or special occasion. It is a wonderful banquet dish and would be beautiful on a buffet line. It would be a marvelous gift for any hostess.

This serving bowl is in excellent condition especially considering its age. The silver bowl and cover have no marks or dents. It does have a couple of pit marks on the bottom. The metal insert bowl shows its years of use with utensil marks and light chipping on the edge that is covered by the metal rim that attaches it to the main bowl. This is an antique and is approximately 125 years old.
Great for entertaining on holidays and special occasions. A wonderful gift idea for someone who loves antique silver and silver nickel items.
