A gorgeous antique teacup and saucer made by Z S & Co. (Scherzer) in Bavaria. The pattern consists of an orange flower on the front and a purple flower on the back against a lusterware background with black trim. They have an iridescent lusterware finish giving the insides a rainbow appearance. This is a lovely old teacup perfect for the collector or the tea connoisseur. This teacup will be perfect for your morning, afternoon, or evening tea, your collection, or just as a conversation piece. A great gift idea.
The company 'Zeh, Scherzer & Co.' was founded in 1880 and started to produce a wide range of pieces including coffee and tea sets, normal household items and tableware as well as decoration porcelain. The company ceased production in 1992.
