A wonderful young adult hardcover book called Cherry Ames Army Nurse by Helen Wells.

She's graduated from Spencer and earned the right to put "RN" after her name, and as an Army nurse, she is now "Lieutenant Ames." The Army nurses are also soldiers and endure a grueling basic training under the harsh Sergeant Deake. Who is the mysterious old Indian whom Cherry and her corpsman Bunce find collapsed in an abandoned house? He is obviously very ill, but with what? Can Dr. Joe's newly developed serum help?

This book is in very good condition. The binding is tight. Pages are clean though slightly yellowed from age. There are previous owner's stickers on the front flyleaf. Has normal shelf wear of rubbing on the top and bottom of the spine and bending at the corners.

As New: The book is in the same immaculate condition as when it was published. This could be the description for a book that has been lost in a warehouse for years, never shelved, thumbed or even opened yet may still be some years old.
