Silver Plate Demitasse Spoon Rogers and Bros., Flemish, International Silver, Discontinued, 4 Inch

A wonderful silver plate demitasse spoon by Rogers and Bros. The pattern is called Flemish and consists of a swirl pattern. This pattern was started in 1894 and is now discontinued. A wonderful addition to a silverware collection. Demitasse spoons are smaller than teaspoons and are traditionally used for coffee drinks in specialty cups and for spooning cappuccino froth.

Rogers & Bro. was established in 1858 by Asa Jr. and Simeon Rogers. Until 1874 the firm was only a flatware manufacturer. It was one of the original companies becoming part of International Silver Company in 1898. International Silver continues to make Rogers & Bros. flatware.
