This is a beautiful miniature cup and saucer from Japan. It is made of eggshell porcelain making this cup and saucer very thin. The cup features hand painted images of a landscape with flowers and a windmill on an orange (peach) lusterware. There is no image on the back of the cup. The saucer features a tree against orange lusterware. The cup and saucer are smaller than a demitasse cup and saucer. This cup would be great for a collector or as a display piece.

The teacup and saucer are in excellent condition. There are no chips cracks or crazing. There is some rubbing to the design which is normal for a cup of this age.
