This is the complete original outfit for a Madame Alexander "Great Britain" doll from their beloved International Series. This clothing set fits an 8-inch doll and was originally released before the doll was retired in 1977.
Included in this set:
Black and white striped dress with floral detail at the collar
Matching white bonnet with lace trim
White cotton petticoat and lace-trimmed pantaloons
Full tulle crinoline slip
Pair of white socks
Pair of black slip-on shoes
Everything here is original to the doll and in very good vintage condition. They do show their age with light yellowing to the white garments. The fabric is clean, the lace is intact, and the elastic still has stretch. No stains or tears. This would be perfect for completing a vintage Madame Alexander doll or for display in a doll collection. A classic piece of doll history—harder to find as a complete set, especially in this condition.
