Liberty Works Sugar Bowl, Open, Egg Harbor-Green, Depression Glass, Vaseline Glass

A lovely open depression glass sugar bowl by Liberty Works in the Egg Harbor-Green pattern. This sugar bowl is hexagon in shape, two handled, and footed. This is Vaseline glass that glows under a blacklight. The rim has an elegant, scalloped top and it is an open (no lid) sugar bowl. It is a discontinued bowl circa 1929. This is a great item for the collector of depression glass. It would also make a great addition to your green home decor.

Liberty Works did business from 1902-1932 in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. A fire in 1932 damaged the plant and due to the depression they did not rebuild.

Size:
3 1/2 inches in height
3 1/2 inches in diameter across the rim
2 1/2 inches in diameter across the base
6 inches from handle to handle

This vintage sugar bowl is in great condition especially considering it is approximately 87 years old. There are some scratches on the rim area, a manufacturing bubble in one handle, and a small scuff mark toward the base. There are no chips or cracks.
