This is a wonderful antique porcelain cheese dish or cheese keeper from F A Mehlem, Bonn~~Made in Germany. It has a floral pattern with brushed gold trim on a cream colored background. The base is cream colored with an orange edge. It is rectangular in shape. This would be a great piece for the collector. A wonderful addition to your dining room or kitchen decor.

This is an antique from the 1800s and it is in very good condition considering it's age. There are no chips or cracks. There are utensil scratches on the bottom plate from its years of service. Crazing is visible all over both top and bottom pieces and some brown stains where water has gotten through the crazing. Please check out our photos carefully. This is a wonderful antique piece.
