This is a wonderful frosted depression glass sandwich platter by Jeannette Glass. It is in the Iris and Herringbone pattern in yellow. The pattern is of irises surrounded by herringbone ribs. This pattern was made by the Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 1932. This can be also used as a cake plate or serving platter. It is called a sandwich plate for the reason you could serve a large number of sandwiches on it. This cake plate would be perfect to add a touch of elegance to any table.

This lovely sandwich platter is in excellent condition. It has no chips or cracks. There are some white marks on the bottom of the platter in the herringbone. This is not uncommon in plates of this age and our price reflects this imperfection.
