This elegant vintage gravy boat and attached underplate set is part of the Brantley pattern by Syracuse China. It was made in the USA between 1949 and 1967. Crafted in the Old Ivory line, it features a warm ivory porcelain body with gently scalloped edges and rich gold trim—a timeless design that adds a classic touch to any holiday table or formal dinner setting. The gravy boat measures approximately 9 inches in length, 5½ inches wide, and 3 inches high. Both the boat and the underplate are in like-new condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or utensil marks. The gold trim is intact and shows no signs of wear. This piece reflects the quality and understated elegance Syracuse China was known for, and it’s a lovely example of postwar American dinnerware.
