Allgäuer Brauhaus is a German brewery located in Kempten, Bavaria, with roots tracing back to the 14th century. The name “Allgäuer” refers to the Allgäu region of southern Germany, known for its alpine beauty and beer culture. The brewery is well-respected for producing traditional German-style beers, including the “Export” style, which is a pale lager with a slightly higher Alcohol by Volume than Pilsner and brewed for longer shelf life—originally for export, hence the name. The mark on the back—"0.25 ℓ" with the eichstrich (calibration line) and an “x” above it—is a European legal fill mark, indicating the glass is certified to hold 250 milliliters (approximately 8.5 ounces).
A great gift for any holiday or special occasion.
