This lovely antique glass bowl is from the NUCUT line by Imperial Glass, made sometime between 1910 and the early 1920s. Part of the Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG) era, this piece was designed to mimic the look of fine cut glass at a time when pressed glass was gaining popularity in American homes. The pattern is classic NUCUT with deep geometric designs, hobstars, crosshatching, and a bold sawtooth rim. It measures approximately 6½ inches in diameter and stands 2¼ inches tall—perfect as a small centerpiece, candy dish, or display piece. An extra bonus: This bowl glows bright green under a black light due to its uranium content, making it a real eye-catcher for collectors of glow glass or vaseline glass. If you're drawn to vintage glass with character, sparkle, and a bit of history, this piece is a beautiful example.
Condition:
The bowl is in very good antique condition with two chips on the edge of the sawtooth rim (shown in one of our photos). These are not unusual for glass of this age and do not take away from its overall beauty or display quality. The body is free of cracks or cloudiness.
