This lovely 8-ounce flat tumbler in the Roseland pattern was made by the Monongah Glass Company around 1927. Featuring elegant vertical optic panels and a beautifully detailed floral and medallion etch, this piece is a fine example of the refined glassware produced during the late 1920s. The tumbler stands 4 inches tall and measures 3 inches across the rim. It’s in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or clouding—clear, crisp, and ready to display or use. These tumblers were often used for water or juice but are just as charming today for cocktails, spritzers, or even as a small vase. A great addition to any collection of elegant glassware or a thoughtful gift for someone who appreciates antique American craftsmanship.
Monongah was absorbed into the Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation in 1937. During its prime, Monongah was known for producing quality etched and blown glass tableware, particularly during the elegant glass era of the 1920s–30s. Roseland is one of their more sought-after patterns due to its intricate design and delicate form.
