This is a vintage 8-inch Brazil doll by Madame Alexander, part of their beloved International Series that celebrated traditional dress from around the world.
She’s wearing her original bright green polka dot dress with colorful rickrack trim and lace sleeves, along with her signature orange turban adorned with fruit. Her clothes are all intact with no rips or tears—just some light yellowing from age, which is typical for vintage fabric and adds to her character. The doll is in excellent condition. Her sleep eyes open and close just as they should, and her face paint and hair are well preserved. She even still wears her original necklace and shoes, making this a wonderfully complete example of the Brazil doll. Whether you’re a collector looking to fill out your International Series lineup or simply love the charm of vintage dolls, this one is a standout.
