This is a cheerful little set of vintage salt and pepper shakers from Meito Japan, made sometime in the 1950s or early 1960s. They’re a bright, sunshine yellow—classic mid-century kitchenware style. They do say “Japan” on the bottom in green lettering, a typical export mark from that era. These don’t have their original plugs, which is common for pieces this age, but they still display well or can be used if you have spare stoppers. Perfect for a retro kitchen, a pop of color on your table, or for the collector who appreciates clean, simple vintage style.
