This four-toed oval bowl was made by Indiana Glass in the Rayed Flower pattern, also known as Splendor. First introduced in 1918, this pattern features bold pressed floral medallions framed by fan and star motifs, with a gently scalloped rim that catches the light beautifully. Under a blacklight, it glows a rich purple-orange color, a sure sign of the manganese content used in glassmaking during the early 1900s. Perfect for displaying fruit, serving salads, or simply as a statement centerpiece in an antique glass collection. A lovely example of early 20th century American pressed glass.
