This is Adama from Nigeria, part of Avon’s International Porcelain Doll Collection released in 1991. She stands 8½ inches tall and is beautifully detailed with a hand-painted porcelain face, traditional Nigerian-style clothing, and jewelry. She carries a water jug and comes with her original box. Adama is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The fabric clothing is vibrant and clean, and her stand is included. The box shows only light age-related wear but is solid and protective.
Avon created this series in the early 1990s to celebrate traditional dress and cultural heritage from around the world.
