If you’ve ever admired the classic Madame Alexander International Dolls, this little Netherlands Boy will feel like an old friend. Standing 8 inches tall, he’s dressed head-to-toe in his original Dutch outfit—soft red felt jacket with silver buttons, roomy blue trousers, striped socks, wooden clogs, and a jaunty black cap. His sleepy eyes still open and close just fine, and his blond hair is neatly trimmed under that hat. This is doll #577 from Madame Alexander’s beloved International Showcase line. He was made in the USA in the late 1970s–1980s, part of a series meant to bring a bit of world culture into collectors’ homes. A great choice if you’re completing a set, looking for a nostalgic gift, or simply want to add a touch of Dutch charm to your collection.
He comes with:
Original stand so he can be displayed safely
Original box with the classic Madame Alexander blue diamond pattern
All original clothes
Condition: Excellent
There are no rips or tears in his clothing and no cracks or damage to the doll. The cover of the box has a piece torn off on one side, the bottom of the box is fine just shows the normal signs of age.
