This antique oval bowl is a lovely example of American Brilliant cut glass, dating to the late 1800s–early 1900s. The glass is clear and bright, decorated with a wheel-cut daisy flower on each end, leaves along the sides, and a radiant starburst in the base. The sawtooth edge catches the light beautifully, showing the kind of craftsmanship the Brilliant period was known for. Under a blacklight, the bowl glows a bright yellow, a sign of the uranium content often used in glassmaking of this era. Condition:
