This Homer Laughlin set carries that same feeling — simple, pretty, and well-made. The creamy ivory china has soft pink wild roses and edged in silver trim. The scalloped edges and embossed scrollwork give it a little extra grace, a reminder of a time when even the everyday dishes had a bit of decoration. This is the Virginia Rose shape, made by Homer Laughlin between the 1930s and 1950s. The pattern itself doesn’t have a name, but it’s easily recognized by its silver edge and those sweet floral sprays that never go out of style.
