There’s something about these old EAPG (Early American Pressed Glass) bowls that makes you stop and look twice. The sparkle, the weight in your hands, the way the light plays off the patterns — it’s a quiet kind of elegance that doesn’t shout for attention. This pressed glass bowl was made by the Tiffin-Franciscan Glass Company, part of the U.S. Glass Co. The pattern is called Cane and Flower, with alternating panels of diamond cane and delicate flowers. Each petal and leaf is wheel cut and it mimics the look of hand-cut crystal. If you close your eyes, you can almost imagine it set on a lace tablecloth, filled with sugared fruit or holiday ribbon candy — the kind of bowl your grandmother would bring out “for company.” Whether you collect early American pressed glass or just love vintage sparkle, this Tiffin-Franciscan bowl carries the quiet charm of the 1920s — sturdy, beautiful, and made to last.
