This little Bavarian plate has been around for close to a century, and you can see why it’s still charming. Made by Heinrich & Co. in Selb, Germany sometime in the 1920s, it’s the sort of piece you’d find sitting in a grandmother’s china cupboard — simple white porcelain with scattered pink rosebuds and a soft, easy feel. It is just the right size for a small dessert or to tuck onto a shelf. It’s a sweet old piece with that uncomplicated cottage look, ready for someone who still likes the quiet beauty of old Bavarian china.
