Continental Kilns Green Arbor Lugged Cereal Bowl

$10.00

Here is a piece of old dinnerware that just feels steady and familiar, and this little Green Arbor lugged (handled) cereal bowl has that kind of charm. It was made by Continental Kilns back when tableware was still hand-painted and meant to be used for years, not seasons. This one wears the cream background, brushed with those soft green leaves the pattern is known for.
It’s just the right size for morning oatmeal, a scoop of ice cream after supper, or to use as a small serving bowl when you’ve got family over and need “one more dish” on the table. Even on its own, it adds that nostalgic mid-century touch without trying too hard. If you enjoy pieces that have a bit of history and a whole lot of honesty to them, this Green Arbor bowl is a nice one to keep close.

Size:
2 inches in height
6 inches in diameter
7 inches handle to handle
Condition: Excellent
The bowl has no chips, cracks, or crazing. For something made in the late 1940s that’s saying something. You can tell it lived in a cupboard where things were treated properly. This bowl is approximately 75 years old.
