This little Madame Alexander “United States” doll has been sitting in her box for most of her life, and it shows. She’s an 8-inch doll from the International Series, dressed in a Colonial-style outfit that’s clean, crisp, and still bright. Her eyes open and close the way they should, and her curls look just as they did when she left the factory. She’s wearing her original clothes—bonnet, striped blouse, white lace collar, full blue skirt, petticoat, stockings, and black shoes. Everything is clean with no stains, fading, or damage. The doll herself is in excellent condition. She comes with her original Madame Alexander box and her hang tag. She’s a good, solid example for anyone who collects the International dolls, displays Americana pieces, or remembers these from years ago. She’s ready for a new home where she’ll be appreciated instead of tucked away.
***Although this doll is a toy -- it is now approximately 40 years old and as such, is fragile and should be used only as a display piece. So, we are labeling this now as, NOT A TOY but a highly collectible doll.***
