This record has clearly lived a life. Pat Paulsen for President is one of those albums that somehow sticks around, passed from shelf to shelf, because it still feels relevant. Released in 1968 at the height of political unrest, Pat Paulsen’s deadpan “campaign” skewers politics with a straight face and sharp timing. This is a spoken-word comedy LP, not music, filled with mock speeches, commentary, and satire that only someone from The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour could get away with—at least for a while. The vinyl is in very good vintage condition with light surface marks consistent with age. The cover shows honest wear along the edges and corners but remains solid and displayable. Original paper inner sleeve included.
