This little glass is a good reminder of when everyday things were made to last. This is a vintage pedestal juice glass made by Hazel Atlas as a promotional premium for Big Top Peanut Butter during the late 1930s to early 1940s. Back then, you didn’t buy glasses off a shelf—you earned them by being loyal to a brand. That’s exactly how this one came home to someone’s kitchen. The glass has a raised diamond and starburst pattern that catches the light beautifully, with a sturdy pedestal base that gives it just a bit of elegance without being fussy. It was meant for juice, but it works just as nicely today for parfaits, sherbet, or even sitting on a shelf with other vintage advertising pieces. If you enjoy vintage kitchenware with a bit of American history behind it, this is a solid piece—use it, display it, or add it to a growing advertising glass collection.
