Growing up, a lot of folks knew these Madame Alexander dolls as “the ones in the pretty boxes” that always sat safely on a shelf. This little 8-inch Greek girl is one of those – part of the International Series – dressed just the way the originals were, right down to her lace petticoat, black slippers, and ribbon-trimmed apron. Her sleep eyes still work as they should, and her clothing hasn’t a mark or stain on it. The colors are bright, the face paint is honest, and she still has her hooded scarf and floral headpiece. She comes with her original blue Madame Alexander box, which has the usual scuffs from sitting in a closet for decades. If you remember these dolls from childhood or you collect the international series, this one is a good, honest example.

She measures 8 inches in height, wears her original tagged outfit (“Greece”), and displays well. A nice, clean example from a period when these dolls were still made with care and charm.
