There’s something familiar about these old Blue Ridge pieces. You set one down on the table and it feels like it’s always belonged there—hand-painted, a little cheerful, and not fussing to be fancy. This little fruit bowl is in the Green Briar pattern, made by Southern Potteries in Erwin, Tennessee back when dinnerware was still painted by hand and every flower came out a bit different. It works as a fruit or dessert bowl, but there’s nothing stopping it from holding change on a dresser or wrapped candies near the front door. If you’re building out a set—or replacing the ones that quietly disappeared over the years—this one’s ready for another round.
Condition: Excellent
No chips, cracks, or crazing. Paint is bright and clean. It has made it through the decades without chips, cracks, or crazing, which is saying something for pottery of this age
