Vintage Children’s Book, Marigold Garden, Kate Greenaway

The pages are evenly cream-toned, which is normal for this edition and age. There is black rubbing/staining on six interior pages; the photos show the worst example clearly. The remainder of the pages are clean. This is not a pristine collector copy, but it is a genuine vintage book that still presents beautifully, perfect for reading, display, or for someone who loves classic illustrated children’s books and understands age-related wear. A lovely old book with character, priced accordingly.

As New: The book is in the same immaculate condition as when it was published. This could be the description for a book that has been lost in a warehouse for years, never shelved, thumbed or even opened yet may still be some years old.

Fine: A Fine book approaches the condition of As New, but without being crisp. The book may have been opened and read, but there are no defects to the book, jacket or pages.
