This original 1968 stereo pressing of In Search of the Lost Chord by The Moody Blues is one of those albums that defines an era. Psychedelic, thoughtful, and unmistakably late-1960s, it’s a record people don’t just collect—they sit and listen to. Released on the Deram label, this was the band’s third album and the one where they fully embraced progressive and experimental sounds. Mellotron, sitar, flute, and philosophical lyrics all come together on tracks like Ride My See-Saw and Legend of a Mind.
The cover is in very good condition with no rips or tears, showing only the normal rubbing you’d expect from age. The vinyl is clean overall with no major scratches or flaws visible. This LP is sold AS IS and unplayed, as all of our vinyl is visually graded only. A clear plastic inner sleeve is included and is clean, though it does not appear to be the original. A solid original pressing and a must-have for classic rock or psychedelic vinyl collectors.
