My Rose by Oneida is one of those patterns just quietly show up in kitchens decade after decade.
This is a set of two vintage place or soup spoons made by Oneida Community in their classic My Rose pattern. The design features a small, raised rose and leaf motif at the end of the handle, giving the flatware just enough decoration while still keeping the clean lines that were popular in mid-century American kitchens. The My Rose pattern was introduced by Oneida around 1960, when stainless steel flatware was becoming the practical everyday choice for many households. These spoons were made to be used daily, which is why so many families still have pieces from their original sets. Both spoons measure approximately 6⅞ inches in length and are marked Oneida Community Stainless on the back. They remain bright and shiny with the normal light surface marks expected from vintage flatware that has been used over time. There are no bends, dents, or damage. Pieces like these are often purchased as replacement flatware when a family set is missing a few spoons, but they also work perfectly as everyday kitchen pieces.
