This dinnerware has a quiet charm about it, the kind that reminds you of family meals and tables set with care. These vintage dinner plates were made by Edwin M. Knowles China Company and feature a lovely floral design framed by a soft yellow and gold geometric border. It’s a look that blends traditional flowers with the clean lines of the Art Deco era. The center of each plate holds a delicate bouquet, while smaller floral accents circle the rim. A warm band of yellow with gold trim frames the design, giving the plates just enough color without overwhelming the table.
This set includes four matching dinner plates. They have clearly been used and enjoyed over the years, which is reflected in light utensil marks and some rubbing to the gold trim. Three of the plates show only light rubbing, while one plate has slightly more wear to the gold. Even so, the plates remain very attractive and display well. There are no chips or cracks. Pieces like this often find new life as replacement plates for an existing set, for mixing into a vintage table setting, or simply for everyday use where older china adds a little character to the meal.
