There are certain holiday patterns that people recognize the moment they see them, and the Spode Christmas Tree is one of them. Spode introduced this pattern in 1938 in England, and it quickly became one of the most beloved Christmas china designs ever made. Many families bring their Spode pieces out every December as part of their holiday traditions. This charming ceramic handbell features the classic Christmas tree decorated with colorful ornaments and surrounded by wrapped gifts beneath the branches. The green trim around the edge and handle adds that familiar Spode holiday touch. Bells like this were made as decorative holiday pieces and are often displayed with Christmas dishes, used as table décor, or rung to call everyone to the holiday table. This bell was made in England, as shown on the backstamp, and carries the traditional S3324 Christmas Tree pattern number. It’s a lovely little piece of holiday nostalgia and a nice addition for anyone who collects Spode Christmas Tree items.
