This vintage clear glass Pyrex pie plate was made in the USA and designed for everyday baking. Heavy, dependable, and simple, these old Pyrex dishes became kitchen staples in homes across America during the 1950s and 1960s. Some pie plates spent their lives tucked away in cupboards. This one clearly did not.
You can see the years of homemade pies in the utensil marks across the bottom — the kind left behind by holiday dinners, summer berry pies, apple pies cooling on the counter, and somebody always sneaking the first slice before supper.
