There was a time when Alabama seemed to be playing everywhere. Pickup trucks, kitchen radios, garage stereos, and little country stations out in the hills all had this album spinning at some point in the 1980s. This is an original 1984 pressing of Roll On by Alabama on RCA Records. The cover art alone feels like its era, with the big highway truck rolling forward and that unmistakable Alabama logo across the front. Songs like “Roll On (Eighteen Wheeler)” and “If You’re Gonna Play in Texas” helped make this one of the band’s best-known albums.

Condition:
Cover: VG to VG+
Sleeve: Split along one side with smaller edge splits
The cover shows light edge wear, some rubbing, and a crease near the top front corner. There are no split seams. The original inner sleeve is included, though it has a full split on one side and smaller splits along the remaining edges from age and storage.
Vinyl: VG+
The vinyl still has a nice glossy shine with light surface marks from normal use, but no deep scratches or major damage were found during inspection.
